The activities of the sixth edition of the Public-Private Partnership Week, organized by the Center of Excellence for Public-Private Partnership in coordination with the Ministry of Trade and the Council on Foreign Economic Relations, are continuing in Istanbul.
Within the framework of the week's activities, the public-private partnership model will be explained to PPP project managers, bureaucrats, representatives of financial institutions and international investors.
Regarding cooperation projects between the two sectors, Eyup Vural Aydin, head of the Center of Excellence for Partnership between the two sectors, said that Turkey has important experience in this field.
Aydin added that they are holding the sixth Istanbul Week of Public-Private Partnership to share these experiences with project managers implemented in the build, operate and transfer system, and to benefit from the participants' experiences.
He pointed out that people from more than 30 countries participated in the program, and that each of these countries had varying experiences in the field of partnership between the public and private sectors.

Hayek stressed that Turkey is a role model with its expertise and important achievements that it has accomplished through cooperation between the two sectors, such as airport projects and health sector projects.
As for David Baxter, a member of the Board of Directors of the World Federation of PPP Experts, he said that Turkey has a long history in this field, and he always mentions PPP projects in Turkey and the methods of their implementation and management as a role model whenever he goes to any country or when talking about projects Such a partnership, noting that Turkey is the first in the world to implement and implement these projects.
In turn, Mark Mosley, a former expert on partnership between the two sectors at the World Bank, stressed that major projects increase in value more when they are implemented in the public-private partnership system, noting that implementing projects in this system is a logical choice for governments.
On the other hand, Azar Ismailyov, Chief Physician at Baku Hospital, Azerbaijan, stated that Turkey has made progress and gained great experience in the field of public-private partnerships, and that they came to Turkey to hone their expertise in this field.
Araz Nasirov, head of Azerbaijan's compulsory insurance strategy, said they are closely following Turkey's experience in PPP.
Nasirov expressed their pride that Turkey, the sister country, is one of the best countries in the world in this field, and he also expressed his desire to transfer these experiences to his country, Azerbaijan.
