Excavations began in the course of the Istanbul Maritime Canal Project since the year (2017) and ended in the beginning of the year (2018), and the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Navigation cooperated within the framework of the project with a large number of institutions, most notably: “Ministries: Environment, Forestry and Water Affairs, Food, Agriculture and Livestock.” , energy and natural resources”, in addition to the Greater Istanbul Municipality, and the “ TOKI” collective housing department of the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
